Designed For

This workshop is designed for intermediate and advanced artists who seek to move beyond technique and into the realm of emotional and expressive painting. Through guided exercises and in-depth exploration, participants will learn to infuse movement, depth, and soul into their work, creating paintings that resonate with raw energy and storytelling. Inspired by my approach to painting—where brushstrokes breathe life into subjects—this workshop will encourage artists to see beyond the visible and translate emotion onto the canvas.

What to Expect

  • Emotion in Brushwork: Techniques for creating movement and energy through expressive strokes.

  • The Power of Color: Understanding how color choice affects mood, depth, and storytelling.

  • Symbolism & Narrative: Exploring how objects, figures, and compositions can carry deeper meanings.

  • Painting Beyond Realism: Developing a personal language in painting that conveys feeling rather than just form.

  • Gesture & Flow: Capturing the essence of movement—whether in horses, figures, or abstract compositions.

  • Texture & Layering: Experimenting with techniques that add depth and richness to the surface of the painting.

  • Critique & Discussion: Engaging in group critiques to refine artistic vision and push creative boundaries.

Creative Style

"I am known for my expressive and deeply symbolic approach to painting, where movement, emotion, and history converge on the canvas. My work often explores existential themes, cultural narratives, and the human connection to nature, particularly through many series."
